What are senior living apartments exactly, and what is the reason behind their growing appeal?

Senior living apartments are precisely that: apartments (townhouses and condos may also be included) in communities or complexes created with the needs and preferences of senior citizens in mind. In addition to many wonderful extras like laundry and housekeeping services, on-site facilities like spas, fitness centers, and salons, and much more, these may include clauses like age restrictions.

Whether relocating to an apartment at Carefinders concierge or another senior living community or apartment complex, Legacy Senior Communities aims to inform the public and outline some of the advantages of doing so.

Living in a house or a typical apartment is no longer the ideal or most desirable living option for many older adults at some point in their lives. As they get older, features like stairs, tall cabinets, and other features of a typical house, condo, or apartment can become more challenging for them to manage, and they spend a lot of time on household chores like cleaning and laundry. Seniors are increasingly favoring senior living apartments over conventional housing options for all of the aforementioned reasons.

Convenience and cost savings over living at home.

Senior living apartments require a lot less upkeep than a house does, and depending on your circumstances, the monthly payments may be lower. Selling your house to move into an apartment releases equity that you can use for other things like travel, enjoyment of life, or gifts for your kids and grandkids.

Certain apartment buildings that cater to seniors are merely age-restricted housing complexes. While they might offer a fitness center and pool, they typically don’t offer other services like dining or medical. Conversely, Carefinders concierge provides senior living apartments on a campus with all of these features and more.

Carefinders concierge also places you in close proximity to multiple hospitals and medical centers, including Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, as well as fine-dining establishments and The Shops at Willow Bend.

seclusion and closeness to friends, neighbors, and a host of other things.

The finest of both worlds are available to residents of Carefinders concierge’s independent living and assisted living apartments. Living in a private home gives you the freedom to live your life as you please, but being a part of a larger community means you can walk to activities, dining options, fitness centers, and neighbors.

Residents who participate in our regularly scheduled activities and programs, frequent educational and social events, weekly guest speakers, holiday parties, religious observances, hobby and fitness classes, and much more have plenty of opportunities to make new friends as part of the Carefinders concierge community.

All residents have access to a multitude of community facilities, including the Aaron family spa and fitness center, several dining options, and a beauty salon, to mention a few.
