A Modular Dump Pouch
You are a pack mule and probably an arsenal carrying a ton of MAGPUL AR (or AK for the more refined ladies out there) mags. They roll up, but don’t expect it to fit in your belt line because you will have a cordura cylinder hanging off your backside. Everyone can use a helping hand, from mag dumpers to military people. It’s a situation where you wish you had more easily accessible person storage without adding too much bulk.
Most of the pouches fall in the medium sized pouch category. They are mostly your do all pouch and can handle a wide range of tasks. It’s fine if they take two or three MOLLE cells on your belt because it’s convenient. If you want to carry a lot of stuff, the wide load classification may be your best bet.
If you just buy what everyone else is selling, you won’t find one that will foot the bill for your mission. Keep in mind that rain, mud, dirt and sand can get into the Utility pouch mesh just as easily as it can get out of this pouch. This thing is very large. It is bulky and can be folded onto itself.
If you want your dump pouch for any activity that involves running, jumping, climbing, or crawling, you need to close it. Quality pouches have shock cords, snap closures, and other items. This is useful for a lot of things. The smaller one can be used for a water bottle. Dump pouch are as cheap as $35 and as expensive as triple digits.
The pouch can be folded and secured with the hook and loop closure. With a pull on the bungee cord, the opening of the pouch can be adjusted. The operator can keep equipment out of the pouch. The pouch’s bottom is made from a mesh fabric that will keep it free of sand, dust and water. The pouch is light.
If the item includes all of the original packaging, instructions, receipt, return authorization and has not been laundered, we will accept returns. Return will not be accepted on closeout items. The items have to be received in 60 days. Before giving a credit or exchange, returns will be carefully inspected.

A 150 round siege belt, five hand grenades, eight AR magazines, and anything else you deem mission essential are all compatible with our new Dump Pouch. In addition to its compact size and large storage capacity, the Cole TAC Compact Dump Pouch also features a memory Filament in the pouch’s rim. It is easy to store empty magazines or other items inside, even without looking, because the pouch quickly deploys and keeps the mouth open when released.
It’s possible to find one that will pay for your needs. The price goes up with build quality and features. The last thing you want is a piece of kit that will flop around. It is the reason we tape up our loose straps in the military. Retention affects both of these concepts when it comes to dump pouches.
The Belt Pouch Is A Roll Up Pouch
The dump pouch has a wide load category. The LBT and gear dump pouches are part of this classification. These can hold a lot of equipment.
Although it’s marketed as a medium, I think it’s within the realm of wide load. There is not much to say about the pouch. These days a trade off is dump pouches. Either you find a lightweight pouch, but it has limited capacity and fragile construction, or you find one with increased capacity, but it is bulky and heavy. It works great on duty belt for qualification trips.

Leg retention is nice, but because the cordura is thick, it generally holds its shape with lighter items. For good reason, the T. Rex Arms dump pouch is well known. It is a jack of all trades and great for dynamic shooters who run a lot. The bungee sets the standard for other dump pouches to follow.
